An app is a software program that operates on internet accessible mobile device. An app can be anything such as a video game or a mobile bank account. It provides instant and unlimited access to the content inside the app, it normally has a logo of your company, it normally provides navigation that is intuitive for anyone to use, and it is downloaded onto the mobile device. This however is more of a lexical definition, and it provides little understanding to anyone outside the technology industry.
